After a few hours of flying Gaerriel's mind finished clearing and she started to feel the pain from her burns much more prominently... She thought this was quite annoying because she was really starting to enjoy flying after this strange bird/man.... His endurance was something that really astounded her, she had met many men in her long life, but she didn't think that many of them would have been able to fly at the fore point for so long...or even to fly for so long at all, really. The wind moved his feathers in such ways that just simply fascinate her, she thought briefly about offering to take the front so he could follow in her drafts and take a small break, but she quickly discounted this idea. With her injuries she wouldn't be able to take the lead for very long and that would just be embarrassing, not to mention that she didn't know where they were going.... But since they'd been flying in the same general direction since they took flight from the cave, she didn't think the lack of a destination point would be too much of a problem.... Which left her with her foolishly gotten burns..... aarrrgg, He had probably been laughing under his wing, not preening....oh how embarrassing.... Goodness....well, nothing left for it now... So she kept flying after the big beautiful bird/man in front of her and did everything to push her foolish pain out of her head. Luckily, none of her wing feathers had gotten burned..... Oh, the foolishness she got herself into......

Even while flying, Hawk constantly kept his mind open to anything that might be important, or perhaps be hostile towards him. He couldn't help but also monitor his cute companion's thoughts, or emotions to be more accurate. He could read minds, if he were to feel so inclined, but it required a good deal of concentration, more so if his target had a stronger mind. But without trying to restrict himself, it was often hard to not sense other's feelings or emotions. He could tell that she was struggling to keep up, or at the very least was getting tired of all this flying. Either way, he figured that taking a short break would be okay, even though he could have made it alone easily. But there was no telling what he would find when he arrived, and being rested was always a good idea.
Without looking back, he opened his mind to her, and sent a stream of thought directly into her mind. I am getting a little tired, I think we will land here and rest for a little.
With that, he gracefully arced down, and descended towards a small clearing in the middle of a small clump of trees. They would be able to see out from it pretty easily, as it was surrounded by fields in all directions, but the trees would shield them from all but the air. He landed, and transformed into his human form, before glancing back to see if Gaerriel had landed yet.

Gaerriel wasn't startled when she received the thought, she'd been around too many people in this world to think twice about it, she simply reminded herself to either strengthen her mental "shield" or else to keep her mind blank....She wasn't very bad at keeping her mind blank, so .......................... and a little ................................. and that took care of that. What bothered Gaerriel was that either he wasn't as endurable as she had been starting to think or else he was highly sensitive about his surroundings. Sensitive males made Gaerriel nervous.... Never know what a sensitive male might catch on too....Or what they might over look.... Now, if it was a sensitive FEMALE, Gaerriel would just assume she'd catch onto everything.... hmmmmm This might call for an investigation....of some sort.... More thought on that later! Landing softly a few feet behind what was now a man Gaerriel started do what looked like random searching in her robe. She cringed when her burnt hand first scratched against the material but then hardened herself, it wasn't as if she could just ask this man to grab this out for her after all. After grabbing a flask, a tube and some clean gauze Gaerriel swiftly sat on her hind end. Taking a large gulp from the flask, without touching it to her lips, Gaerriel shivered and made a face. Setting it down she squeezed goop out of the tube and applied it to her burns. After a few bad try's with the gauze she let out a groan and looked up regretfully at her companion. "I can't seem to get this, would mind helping me please?" She wouldn't have minded asking him, but she knew that he was in a rush and it wasn't like it was HIS fault that she had burned herself..... It was her own foolishness that made her regret having to ask.

Hawk busied himself scanning the immediate area for anything living, and had just concluded that the area was safe from hostile creatures, when Gaerriel posed her question. He smiled at her obvious reluctance, and reassured her calmly.
"Of course I can!! You should have said something earlier, we could have fixed this before we even left the forest!"
He knelt down beside the hyrpie, and taking her hand in his, he carefully wrapped her burnt hand. "Is that too tight? I can loosen it a little if you want. Do you have any other burns?" He was still holding her bandaged hand in his, although he hadn't realized it yet. He looked at her eyes, which were a beautiful golden color, as he awaited her reply.

Gaerriel flushed, although she wasn't entirely sure if it was because of the spirits she'd just gulped down or the handsome man kneeling before her. She couldn't quite look him in the eye but she was sure he was looking right at her's. "No. No, that should be just fine. Thank you very much." She said as she raised her eye's to focus somewhere off to her right. "Would you like anything to drink, or to eat?" She asked, feeling like she'd said that already...

Hawk smiled as he stood up, letting his hand linger on hers for a little longer then needed. "I could use something to eat, I suppose. But I can also go forage for some berries or small game too, no need in worrying yourself over me." He leaned against a tree, and closed his eyes as he listened to the sounds of nature around him. "We will stay here for a few hours I think, so feel free to relax."

Gaerriel looked at him as he leaned against the tree. "Relax? Relax... You want me to relax? Really? You don't even know who I'm traveling with and you expect me to relax?? For all we know you're a psychopathic killing machine!!! Well, that is assuming that you haven't remembered anything...Have you? Well...If you've remembered and you ARE a killing machine, why would you tell me anyways!??!?!?!?!?!" The words left her mouth and where accompanied by somewhat wild arm gestures before she thought about them and her next thought AFTER she said them was Yup, that's the spirits....I told the old man I didn't need his strongest.....whoops, well, at least my burns don't hurt....

Hawk didn't even open his eyes. He took her unwarranted accusations and rebuttals in stride, and smiled before replying. "Look, it's quite simple. If you don't want to come with me, then don't! I am not forcing you anywhere, you come on your own free accord. If anything happens, then you have nobody to blame, but yourself. So just relax!" He chuckled to himself as he wondered what it was that she had drank...

Feeling a little ashamed of herself, Gaerriel silently gathered a few fallen sticks and started a small fire. As she placed the flask back in her robe she pulled out her kettle and poured a little water from her canteen into it. She only pulled out one mug and then she pulled out some ingredients, a mortar and pestle, and large flat rock. She swiftly got started pounding and mashing the ingredients together and ended up using the last of her water to make it the right consistency. As Gaerriel looked up she realized she had ended up facing away from her companion. Looking over her shoulder she held her canteen upside down and asked "Is there a stream or something nearby, do you know?"

Hawk smiled as she busied herself making a fire and who knows what else. "I don't think there is any streams nearby, but that shouldn't be a problem." With that, he calmly stretched out his mind and reached towards the naturally occurring water beneath the earth they stood on. He expelled a small amount of energy and had it form on the surface, filling a small nearby ditch. "Will that suffice?" He asked.

Gaerriel muttered something that sounded suspiciously close to "show-off" and went to the water filled ditch to fill her flask. She also scrubbed her face and hands a little. She felt a little better after that. She looked over her shoulder at her companion. "You know, for not being able to remember anything, you certainly do remember how to do a lot... You sure you still don't remember anything? Not your name, not where we're going, or why?" Not waiting for his response and doing her best to not look at him, she went back to the fire and poured some of the mixed ingredients into a little dent in the rock. When she was satisfied that none of it would leak off the rock she turned back to him and gave him her full attention.

Hawk shook his head. "I know I am going north, and a little west. And that we are almost there. My powers are instinct-I couldn't list them off to you, but if I need them, then I would react automatically and use them. If you don't trust me, you don't have to come with me, it is still your choice." He glanced at her hands. "What are you making?"

"Flat bread. Doesn't require much spice, but I suppose I'll live..... I didn't say I don't trust you, it's just that I've never lost my memory, so I don't know if I should expect you to start remembering soon or what..... Well.... I don't THINK I've ever lost my memory..." Gaerriel started to daze off at that thought but then she reached into her robe (with her UNbandaged hand) and pulled out tongs. Using the tongs she moved the already hot stone practically into the fire.

Hey, guys, hope I'm not interrupting anything. But the only reason I haven't been on is because no one else is really ever on and the story can not progress that way. I still like this game, but with it being crappy outside a majority of the time and not having any internet all the way in the woods, I really can't do anything. I have been writing a rough draft of a story that involves the dark druid and its characters. I would like to be able to print off all the old posts. Mind you I did say, involves the dark druid, not directly about it. When I have time I will post it. Thank you, come again. ;D

Hey Masa.
Don't bother.
I meant to close and delete this site some time ago. There was not enough interest for me to invest time into developing the site. If later that changes, then so be it. In the meantime, I'm gonna lock the site into maintenance mode in a few days (give you a chance to possibly see this reply first).

Oh well I know what you mean though. I tried doing a Naruto website with my friend and I also tried my hand at making another kind of game as well. But I just wasn't really into it. It happens. Thanks for telling me. ;D
